Prior to this I have been a junior teacher at a school in my home town for a year as well focusing on development of English in each student.

Hi everybody! I`m Curtley. 

I am going to tell you a little bit about my background. I have studied a degree in Economics at the University of Nelson Mandela, in my home town in Port Elizabeth. Thereafter, I completed my Honors in Business management in 2018. While I was studying towards my commercial education, I also completed my TEFL course, because I have a passion for teaching English to the world. I started teaching English part-time in 2018 and I fell in love with it ever since. I have taught online through a local company called MPC Connect, where I taught children from 2 years and up, as well as adults. I also taught on all levels, from beginners, to English majors who want to brush up on their fluency and pronunciation. My lessons are very interactive and because of my big personality, my lessons are lots of fun! In my free time I like to swim and go to the gym.

I am studying part-time towards my bachelors degree in business management and accounting at Nelson Mandela University.

I worked as an auditor for 2 and a half years before I decided to change my career path. I completed my teaching certificate in 2018 and started teaching English online for a Chinese company.

Since then, I have discovered that I am very passionate about helping others to achieve their goals by being attentive and patient. I am a very upbeat and happy person. My name is Patrick and I come from England. My first degree is from the UK, but I also have a Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) from Australia as well as a Trinity TESOL certificate. I’ve been a language teacher since 2001 and I’ve taught in lots of different countries including Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Egypt, Thailand, Brunei and most recently in Singapore. I’ve worked in high schools and language schools, so I have experience of teaching both young learners and adults on a wide range of courses. Courses I’ve taught include General English (Elementary to Advanced) Business English and IELTS preparation classes. While I consider myself a serious educator, I like to keep my classes nice and relaxed as I think students learn better when they are enjoying themselves.

I’ve been teaching English since 1997, predominantly to adult professionals at all proficiency levels.

Throughout the noughties, I was an English Language school owner and director of studies.

I have a teaching license accredited by the Greek Ministry of Education and I’m CPE, TEFL and TESOL Certified.

I also hold a BA in Culture and Civilization and a Master’s Degree in Cultural Organizations Management.

I graduated from the Univeristy of Portsmouth in 2007 with a First Class BA Honours degree in German studies.

I have been teaching adults and youths English and German for 10 years. I obtained a TEFL and IELTS certificates. Many students of mine have successfully obtained 7.5 and above. I try to explain rules and grammar constructions in a way that simplifies the English language.

My lessons are conversationally based and I believe in this method to improve students the quickest.  My ideal goal for students is to improve them as much as possible within the time frame given.

I graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in geography with a focus on both cultural and physical geography. In addition, I have a technical degree in radio and television broadcasting from the New School of Radio and Television in New York. I utilized the experience I gained in my early professional years as a radio host and later on for several years in television for two major news networks.

I have been teaching and training adults for a long time through my years working in managerial positions, but my formal teaching experience started in 2010 when I began teaching at a private school for children. I have been teaching ESL to children and adults through various online platforms since 2017. I adapt my teaching style easily to the needs of students.

My name is Connor and I’m from Derry in Ireland. I graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and I am a TEFL qualified teacher. My professional background was in Finance / Customer Service where I worked in a bank for several years before recently moving to sunny Spain and following my dream of teaching. Several members of my family are also teachers including my father so you could say it’s in my blood! I love helping my students grow and develop, not only their language skills but also as a person. Every student is different and the one to one lessons allow me to focus on the individuals needs and ensure that the students gets the most of our time together and their goals are met.

In Spain, I am volunteering in a language academy for adults ages 18-70, all levels and I am enjoying every minute of it. I am also starting my own journey of learning Spanish so I completely understand what it is like to be a student learning a new language.

Hi there :) My name is Jeannine and I was born and bred in the magnificent country found at the tip of Africa - namely South Africa. I have however been very fortunate to have travelled extensively thoughout Europe, even spending 7 years in The Netherlands and 4 years in the USA. I have also been a language student, having studied French / Dutch / Afrikaans and now Italian, so I truly understand the position of my students and I can empathise with the complexities of language learning. I taught English in the United States at a language school that helped new immigrants prepare to take their citizenship test and to prepare them for job interviews.
