I've been teaching English since 2014 and have been living in Tbilisi, Georgia since then, although I’m from the US originally.

I emphasize free, natural, open conversation with all the people I meet, as there’s no better way to improve one’s speaking skills than simply by speaking. In my experience, a comfortable, informal learning environment is not only pleasant, but is the most effective way for a learner to make progress. I enjoy discussing every-day work and personal life topics, but also going over things like conditionals, phrasal verbs, idioms, even slang, to help the student gain a more confident command of English.

I prefer teaching online - it allows me to meet people all over the world and to devote more time to my children.

I could afford to travel by teaching English online, and in classrooms in Poland and Vietnam. Now I teach from home here in Canada. I’m Rabia from South Wales in the United Kingdom. I’ve been teaching English as a foreign language for 10 years. I currently live in Turkey where I’ve gained most of my teaching experience. I’ve taught English to children from the ages 5 to 16. I’ve also taught some private one to one tutoring to adults. I gained my teaching certificate (P. G. C. E) in the U. K. It’s a Post Graduate Certificate at Masters level. I also have a TEFL certificate. The reason I became a teacher was due to the desire to help the community. Back in Wales I enrolled in many courses where I was able to meet lots of new people all wanting to learn. I realised then that education is ongoing and should be available to all. This motivated me to become a teacher. My typical lesson is conversational and fun. I like to help and empower my students to speak freely. When I teach grammar, I use as much visual content as I can.

I hold an Honors B.Ed. Degree from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, a Master's in English literature, and a Cambridge TEFL Diploma, accredited by the UK Ministry of Education. With 28 years of experience across Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, General Business, Communication Services, FMCG, and Pharmaceuticals, I shifted to exclusive English training in 2016. For the past five years, I've specialized in general and business English for Russian students, and since 2019, I've been a Premier Elite Master Teacher at Skyeng.

I am a fully qualified TESOL teacher. I completed my 150 hour Master TESOL Certification and received a merit pass. I can teach all ages from the levels A1-C2. After high school, I decided to study PC engineering and MCSE. I decided to become an English teacher because I have always loved languages. When the opportunity to go to Taiwan and teach English came up, I simply could not refuse it. I lived and taught English in Taiwan for five years. I taught in classrooms from kindergarten up to high school, as well as some of my friends over Skype. While I was teaching there, the main focus for the students, apart from learning English, was to make sure they had a fun, enjoyable, and personal experience. Once I returned to South Africa, I worked in a fast-paced business environment, dealing with a lot of different customers. This helped me stay up-to-date on my business English and maintain the correct level of professionalism needed.

My name is Adjani, I am a South African and my native language is English. I am a TEFL certified teacher with many years of teaching experience. I was introduced to teaching when I moved to Taiwan and fell in love with it.

My teaching methods were centred around creativity and positivity. I believe that the key to success is focus and confidence and giving that to a student is my primary goal. By being more home-based, I can focus more on my hobbies, which are; woodworking, DIYing, and nature.

I was born and come from Manchester in the UK and therefore I am a Native English Speaker. I lived all my life in the UK.

In 2016, I came to live here in Russia where I have been teaching students conversational English, although this is not my only job. I also work here as a musician, singing in bars, hotels and restaurants.

In the UK I also worked in several companies as an accountant, so I have a good knowledge of business and can help anyone who needs to speak English for their own business or work.

I first started teaching English and Drama in Indonesia. There my students were school age up to senior management, so my lessons were quite diverse. Recently I have been teaching English in Turkey to a very wide age group of different capabilities. I've prepared students for all types of exams from school entrance exams to becoming airline pilots for Turkish Airlines. I like to think of my lessons as a fun way of learning as I feel it helps keep you motivated.

I am a keen horse rider and love cooking.
