My name is Jacopo but you can call me Jay. I have taught English at all levels and ages for 5 years, including South Korea (6 months), South and Central America (Chile and Mexico, 1 year) and Vietnam (3 years). I am an open-minded person with a passion for traveling, history, and interacting with people of different nationalities and backgrounds. I’ve been lucky to have the chance to travel the world for many years and learn a lot about the culture and the people from other countries.
In Ha Noi in 2012, I started teaching children and adults in English centers, and it was a really rewarding experience: my students taught me a lot about their culture, and I learned how to develop their trust, confidence and interest in learning English. I believe it’s important to understand my students’ passions and interests, as that makes them feel comfortable with me and creates a connection between us.
