My name is Christine Gay R. Aban. I graduated College with a degree in Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration Major in Management. When I was a kid, I loved doing role play and
my favorite role is being a teacher. I used to call the other kids in the neighborhood and teach
them how to sing the ABC, write alphabets and count numbers. As I became an adult, I realized
that teaching is a noble job. All the positive feedback and the simple thanks from my students
gives me a lot of confidence and determination to become a better person. I have been teaching
for 5 years face-to-face and 2 years online. I have also done private tutoring, teaching
foreigners how to be fluent in English. During my first year of teaching, I taught Information
Technology to Grade 7 students. At present, I am a teacher of Grades 11 and 12 (Senior High
School) with the subjects: Organization and Management and Principles in Marketing. From
time to time if there are volunteers (usually Italian and Vietnamese) present in our school, I offer
a short term of tutoring English language. During my free time, I like to watch movies or
listen to music. I also love doing cross stitch and solving puzzles. I would like to share with my
students happy memories and let them realize that learning is a never ending process. That
learning is fun and things learned in a fun way retains longer in one’s memory.
