Welcome to Skyeng, I have over 10 years of English Teaching, in class and online, Russian, Italian, Asian, and Turkish Students. Having spent many years in the corporate field, I understand real life business situations. Having lived in a few countries, I understand the importance of learning about my students culture and background. I had 2 Russian students as guests in my home for 3 months where we interacted on a daily basis in a wide range of situations. My teaching style is varied and adapted to suit your needs. I finished school and decided that I wanted to do a TEFL course so that I could start teaching English as a foreign language, as I have always loved helping others and I have a passion for the English language. My name is Vis, and I am from the UK. I have a diploma in Electronics Technology and have been teaching English since 2015. I have had the pleasure to work with basically all age groups, from 4 years old to 75. Most of my students want me to correct their mistakes and give them suggestions, but some prefer to just chat. My teaching career began in 2016 when I received the opportunity to work in Bangkok, Thailand. I loved every moment of teaching and didn’t want to stop, so when I came home after my contract had ended, I turned to the online teaching world.

I decided to become a teacher because I am passionate about education and I love to see students overcome their learning challenges. I have a background in the Business Sector and I love teaching General Business English, grammar and English converations for adults and professionals and phonics and reading for children.
