Marija

My name is Marija, but you can call me Mary. I come from Serbia and I am an English language teacher. I have graduated from the University of Niš, The Faculty of Philosophy, Department of English Language and Literature. I have been working as a teacher for almost 11 years now.

English is my passion and I enjoy every minute of teaching. I have a lot of experience in teaching students of all ages and all levels. My lessons are always personalized, meaning I want to know more about my students. I want to know why they are learning English: for fun, travel, work or something else. In this way, my lessons are more successful. I use communicative approach in my teaching and always provide a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. This is how the student can learn in a more comfortable way. I like my students to know that I am always there for them and that I am very supportive. Their success is my success. Together we can conquer the world of English language.

When I am not teaching English, I like to read a book or watch a movie in English. I am also learning Spanish and Swedish, so I am both the teacher and the student. I like exploring the internet for new and interesting materials and techniques for teaching because my job is creative and there are million different ways in which I can approach the English language.
