My name is Martine, from South Africa. I have been teaching English for many years to students from across the globe. I have always wanted to be a teacher and completed my Bachelor of Education degree in 2002. Most of my experience has been in International Schools around the world.

I believe that lessons must be engaging and relevant. I like to develop all four language skills as they are all equally important. I like to give my students the opportunity to practise what they have learnt and give them the opportunity to talk about topics that interest them. Apart from teaching, I love traveling.

I love visiting new places and meeting interesting people from around the world. France is my favourite destination! I love to speak French and watch French movies. I am a very keen mountain biker and try to ride my bicycle as often as I can. I also enjoy running and swimming and walk my two dogs, Penny and Bella every evening. I hope that I can assist you on your journey to becoming a fluent English speaker!
