I am Penelope. You can call me Penny. I took up a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English. Teaching has always been my passion. I was in 6th grade when I was tapped to help tutor 8 to 9-year-olds from my elementary school. It changed me a whole lot. 2007 was the year I started to work as an Online English Teacher for Japanese students. It was interesting to see how determined they were in improving their skills. I developed my discipline and work values as well. A few years later, I started to work with Koreans, Chinese, Saudi Nationals, Polish, and Afghanis.

My classes have always been fun and animated. I sing with kid clients. I read stories and do grammar with middle school students. I initiate free talks with young adults; whatever floats their boat. I don’t have much free time because I do extensive prepping for my lessons. Since I am online a lot, I read and surf the internet.
