Sam is an office worker with a full-time job. His working day starts early in the morning with a typical routine such as dressing up, having breakfast and commuting to work. He works from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. Sam can finish work one hour earlier only on Fridays. He spends almost all working day in the office in front of his computer. The most boring part of his job is regular meetings and business conferences. Sam gets a fixed salary at the end of each month. Unlike Sam, Tom is a volunteer. His working day is less organised than Sam's. Tom doesn't have a fixed schedule and doesn't need to go to the office every day. Volunteering is more interesting for him than sitting in front of the computer. He thinks that working in an office is the worst thing. the suffixes - er/-est. the words more/the most. - er/-est or more/the most.

Example: The light travels faster than the sound.

Ben has worked the hardest of all our team.

Adverbs with two or more syllables (usually with the –ly suffix) form the comparative and the superlative degrees by adding
