I am Mark Cashman, I was born in Ireland, but I have lived in many different places and currently I am residing in Manila, Philippines. During this time I have worked as a horticulturist, an IT Technician, a Foundation Engineer, an Alpinist and of course for the last 12 years, an English Teacher. I speak good French, passable German and some Mandarin as I lived in those countries, 5, 6.5 and 10 years respectfully. I love learning and one of the biggest surprises for me since becoming a teacher is how much I can learn and become a better communicator through teaching. I also find the stereotypes are banished and a truer understanding of people around the world be it English or non-English speakers.

In my spare time I love to read, listen to music and watch TV but most importantly I like to spend my time with my wife and daughter. I have keen interest in sport, science and business and I am always intrigued in how people interact and how things work in the world to which I have no direct connection. In the classroom I think that sometimes there is too much focus on the grammar rules and not enough on becoming a better communicator.

My name is Richard, nice to meet you. I will be glad to be your teacher. I know that sometimes it can be hard to learn something new, and maybe for you the English language seems difficult. But fortunately I have the training and experience to teach students of all levels, and my own way of teaching to make sure that you get perfect results.

I moved to Russia several years ago to study in a university and I received my TEFL Certification during that time. I have the additional experience of teaching in local schools for about a year. However, I no longer live in Russia. The main principal I follow for lessons is I figure out which areas you need to focus on to achieve your goals and improve quickly. I believe that grammar is very important, but I also like to make sure that we focus on vocabulary, expressions, and pronunciation, which can really help to make your speech more natural.

In our lessons we can also discuss topics such as American Culture if it interests you, as culture is a part of language. I hope that we will meet very soon, and I look forward to our lesson! See you soon!

I have been working as an English teacher online for 3 years now. I teach students from different countries, and this is why I love learning about different cultures. I have been trained to teach all levels, from beginners to advanced students. I always like to challenge myself as a teacher.

Teaching a vast variety of students has taught me to be patient, creative, and open-minded. My teaching career has exposed me to students as young as 3 years old and adults from ages 18 to 58 years old. I teach children and adults.

Hello, my name is Hannie du Plessis. Nice to meet you! I have a diploma in photography, and a TEFL certificate and currently I am a second-year BA arts student with two majors, one in psychology and the other in English. Both the process of self-growth and being an educator are inherent qualities for me. I want to share my values for self-improvement, honesty, the desire to achieve greatness, and my love for learning about different cultures through teaching English. I started my teaching career as an assistant photography lecturer in 2004. In 2014, I sold all my belongings and moved to Thailand. I received a TEFL certificate at Samui TEFL in March 2014. I have eight years of experience as a TEFL teacher. I have lived and worked in many different parts of the world including the United Kingdom, Thailand, America, and India. I also try to help my students recognise their potential and fulfil it. My accent is very neutral with clear speech which makes it easy for students to understand me. My name is Carron. I am from England and have been teaching English as a second language for over a year.

My students are mainly young adults from Turkey, Russia and many Arabic speaking countries, but I have also taught children, the youngest was 4 years old.

I have been living in Turkey for 12 years and after helping local people over the years to learn English, I decided I would like to teach as a career.

I am an open-minded individual and enjoy swimming, cooking and meeting new people.

My name is Alexandra, but you can call me Alex. I am from England in the United Kingdom, where I studied English Language at University. I love the process of learning and I like to continue this in my free time. I keep my mind active with reading, painting and creative writing, and I also enjoy being physically active doing sports like swimming and running.

My training path began when I completed a PDC (Permaculture Design Course) course in 2011 and completed an internship at an organic farm, where I taught unemployed people basic gardening skills. I received my TEFL in 2014. I jumped on a plane to China, where I spent more than a year teaching children. Then I went to Indonesia, where I taught many types of classes. I have been teaching online since 2017.

I like it when my students talk about their lives, interests, hobbies, or something else they like. I will correct pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar if necessary, and I love questions because I feel that asking questions is the key to understanding. I adapt my lessons to the specific needs and goals of the student. Together, we will have fun doing them.

I've been teaching English since 2014 and have been living in Tbilisi, Georgia since then, although I’m from the US originally.

I emphasize free, natural, open conversation with all the people I meet, as there’s no better way to improve one’s speaking skills than simply by speaking. In my experience, a comfortable, informal learning environment is not only pleasant, but is the most effective way for a learner to make progress. I enjoy discussing every-day work and personal life topics, but also going over things like conditionals, phrasal verbs, idioms, even slang, to help the student gain a more confident command of English.

I’m Rabia from South Wales in the United Kingdom. I’ve been teaching English as a foreign language for 10 years. I currently live in Turkey where I’ve gained most of my teaching experience. I’ve taught English to children from the ages 5 to 16. I’ve also taught some private one to one tutoring to adults. I gained my teaching certificate (P. G. C. E) in the U. K. It’s a Post Graduate Certificate at Masters level. I also have a TEFL certificate. The reason I became a teacher was due to the desire to help the community. Back in Wales I enrolled in many courses where I was able to meet lots of new people all wanting to learn. I realised then that education is ongoing and should be available to all. This motivated me to become a teacher. My typical lesson is conversational and fun. I like to help and empower my students to speak freely. When I teach grammar, I use as much visual content as I can.
