Hai, I am Migi, professionally a Writer/Editor based in India. I have a combined experience of 9 years working as an IELTS and Spoken English trainer, Quality Analyst and Editor/Proofreader with a multinational American consulting firm. During this period, I was intensively involved in preparing and delivering lessons to students at different levels of learning, editing business documents as well as training the language and process skills of newly hired colleagues. I was born and raised in the Gulf region and India and am a postgraduate in Biosciences. It was during my preparation for higher studies that I wrote the IELTS exam. That’s when I realized my flair for teaching English. I went on get certified in the Cambridge Business English Certificate (Vantage and Higher). This effectively aided my role as an Editor and Analyst in a business consulting firm. Once I decided to incorporate teaching as an integral part of my profession, I proceeded to get myself professionally qualified to teach English with an international certification - the CELTA. Since it coincided with my trip to New Zealand, I was able to do my CELTA from New Zealand. It was an amazing experience teaching students from different parts of the world. With guidance and practice, it’s possible to master anything.
