I'm Dan. I have a degree in French and Russian from the University of Bristol. I decided to become a teacher because I wanted to get to know people from other cultures and get them to share their knowledge with me. I have worked as a teacher of English for 10 months in Poland.

My lessons are a combination of dogme, task based and communicative approach, which means they are always student centred. I believe that learners' needs and personalities must be at the core of the learning process.

Linguistics is not only my job but also my hobby so in my free time I like learning new languages. Not only is it personally fulfilling but it also helps me to better understand my students and gives me a clearer perspective of what students might be experiencing at different stages of learning a language.
