Hello, my name is Catherine, but you can call me Cathy. I am 33 years old and live in a small city called Port Elizabeth. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and English, as well as a TESOL certificate. I started teaching 4 years ago and fell I love with it. I have taught students of all ages from 3 to 60 and I absolutely love watching the transformation through sheer determination of my students. It is amazing to see students achieving their goal and to know that I have been a part of their life journey. I have learnt many things over the past 4 years and find it fascinating to learn about different cultures. I take great pride in y students and always try to make them feel comfortable. I am a patient and thorough teacher, my lessons are structured, but there is always some room for fun. I enjoy making use of many different resources to assist in understanding. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family and taking my dog Gizmo for walks. I also enjoy going to the beach, watching movies or series and reading.

My goals for my students are that we may take the time to learn something new in every lesson that we have together. I look forward to joining you on this amazing journey of learning English.
