An Unusual Find

Last Saturday I went for a walk along the coastline. The weather was beautiful. The light wind blew into my face. The sea was calm.

As I was walking, I suddenly saw a strange object in the sand. I came closer to see what it was . To my big surprise, it was a green sealed bottle with something inside. I decided to open it. I pulled the cork and took a rolled paper out of the bottle. Perhaps, it was a message from the past.

I looked at the paper. I couldn't could not read what was written there. The letters were strange. I did not didn't know what to do. I knew I found something valuable. Fortunately, there was an anthropology museum in the town where I arrived for a holiday, so I headed up there. Was it a secret code to find a treasure?

Life in the Past
