Hello. My name is Melanie. I also go by the nickname Mel. I am from South Africa, and I am a TEFL-certified English teacher. In my years of experience, I have taught students of different levels ranging from beginner to advanced, and students of various ages.

I approach all my lessons with patience and a desire to make you feel as comfortable as possible in your learning journey. I love teaching through conversation because it is fun and it is a great way to build your confidence and prepare you for more natural speaking environments.

Some of my interests include reading, cooking, and conversations about travel, current affairs, psychology, sociology, the environment, and general cultural exchange.
