After high school, I decided to study PC engineering and MCSE. I decided to become an English teacher because I have always loved languages. When the opportunity to go to Taiwan and teach English came up, I simply could not refuse it. I lived and taught English in Taiwan for five years. I taught in classrooms from kindergarten up to high school, as well as some of my friends over Skype. While I was teaching there, the main focus for the students, apart from learning English, was to make sure they had a fun, enjoyable, and personal experience. Once I returned to South Africa, I worked in a fast-paced business environment, dealing with a lot of different customers. This helped me stay up-to-date on my business English and maintain the correct level of professionalism needed.
