Alexandra

My name is Alexandra, but you can call me Alex. I am from England in the United Kingdom, where I studied English Language at University. I love the process of learning and I like to continue this in my free time. I keep my mind active with reading, painting and creative writing, and I also enjoy being physically active doing sports like swimming and running.

I decided to become a teacher to share my enthusiasm for learning. No two days are the same and I get to interact with people from different countries and cultures which I love. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for nearly 4 years to all age groups; from 5 year olds up to retired adults. I have taught English to people from all walks of life and to many different nationalities, including: Russian, Turkish, Saudi Arabian, Kazakh and Chinese. I teach all levels of learners, from beginner through to advanced and also IELTS preparation. Prior to this, I worked in Secondary schools in England teaching English as a second language and improving English language abilities of native speakers. 

My lessons are creative and interesting, and always adapted to your needs and your goals. Communication is the foundation to everything that we do in life. Practice and proficiency are key elements to my lessons, but equally important is the enjoyment of learning.
