Jermaine

My name is Jermaine but you can call me Jem. I am currently located in Singapore and I have been teaching English since 2007. I am a well-rounded individual who enjoys travelling, reading, watching movies and learning about cultures of the people I meet. I have experience teaching people of different nationalities such as the French, Italians, Polish and Japanese people ranging from beginner to advanced. I specialize in both Business English and Everyday English and I am able to address different points during the lesson such as comprehension, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. 

I am adept in different teaching methods but I am most comfortable using the Communicative approach as I believe that being able to practice the target language through interaction in real-life situations is vital. I also make sure that my student's needs are addressed so that the lessons are customized and that they are able to fully maximize what they learn. We can also discuss your interests and your passions as it is important for me that my students feel comfortable and at ease during their lessons.
