My name is Santiago. When I was 19 years old I decided to take an opportunity to study abroad and enrolled at a Russian university. This year I graduated as a philologist and translator from the People's Friendship University of Russia.

I think that giving out knowledge is a priceless wonder and an amazing way to contribute to someone’s accomplishments in the process of learning English language, which will be useful in their professional as well as in their personal lives. It’s hard to find a job that can give you such satisfaction. I’ve been teaching English for about 3 years now, I’ve worked in language camps and as a private tutor. My lessons are full of conversation, I try to make it as interesting as possible because learning something new should always be fun and productive.   

In my spare time, when I am not teaching, I enjoy reading and learning languages, I already speak three languages (Spanish, English, and Russian) and currently I am learning German, Icelandic, and Yakutian. I usually prefer hobbies that bring a useful and positive impact on my life. I am very keen on philosophy and practicing sports such as riding the bicycle. Nevertheless, I enjoy usual stuff like watching series, movies, and listening to music.

I find teaching as a rewarding challenge and the opportunity to light up a candle that will lead to knowledge and a bright future ahead. My students become more interested in languages. They make progress and they have fun in the process.
