Milagros Rebeca

My name is Milagros, but I prefer to use my middle name: Rebeca. I am 23 years old. I am an English teacher. I graduated from the Teacher Training Course in early 2021 as the top of my class. My teaching degree is valid in all of Argentina, and I have participated in numerous symposiums as requested by the authorities of the institution I studied at.

I chose this career because I have always enjoyed teaching in general. It was not until I was around fifteen years old that I decided I wanted to teach English specifically, since it consists of two things I like: languages and teaching.

Although I graduated recently, I have worked as a private tutor for many years, ever since I was in secondary school. I have taught children, pre-teens, teenagers and adults from all levels who needed English for different purposes. I also have experience working in bilingual environments teaching Biology.

During my lessons, I use the communicative approach. In my opinion, gamification of the classroom is crucial, which is why I include games whenever possible. I also focus on making my students feel comfortable at all times in order for them to feel open to the content I am teaching.

I spend my free time drawing and painting. I enjoy writing on my bullet journal, as well as playing video games. One of my favourite hobbies is baking.
