My name is Mulan Howe. I am a native English speaker from the busy city of Sydney, Australia. I hold an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I enjoy teaching because I enjoy helping others reach their goals and make a difference in people's lives. My love for learning affected my decision to become a teacher so I would like to help students learn and also learn from my students.

I have been teaching English for over two years now. After finishing my Associate's Degree in Australia, I lived in Taiwan and taught English to kindergarten students. I have also worked online teaching both children and adults.

My experiences as a language student format the way I conduct myself and my lessons. I don't just go through the material. I like to make the lessons more personal and tailor the lessons to the needs of my student. I also love to talk with my students in my lessons and learn about their culture and everyday life. When I take personal interest and just talk with my students, it breaks down a barrier and makes lessons much more comfortable. I am an approachable and enthusiastic teacher, which also helps students feel comfortable in the class.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling. So far I have travelled to around 30 different countries in Asia, the Pacific, North America and Europe. I love meeting new people and seeing everyday life in different countries and tasting different foods. When I am not travelling, I am usually baking desserts, hiking or swimming at one of Australia's many beaches.

I would love to not only help you with English, but to share my personal experiences of living in Australia, Australian culture and my travels. I can't wait to see you in class.
