My name is Jeannine de Klerk-Booysen. I was born and raised in South Africa and my native tongue is English. I have a Bachelor's degree with two majors in World History and Anthropology (socio-cultural). I also qualified as an animal behaviorist, as I absolutely adore animals / nature. I am TEFL qualified and gained my certificate in teaching young learners as well. I have always had a great love for languages and this lead me to become a teacher of English. I too, have been a language student and fully understand the complexes of studying a new language. I have been teaching English for almost three years. I have not only taught English, but also owned my own company, specialising in physical education for young children. I taught up to 120 children per week and we focused on developing the full physical aspect of each child. I have also taught conversational English to adults, as well as online teaching to young children. In my lessons, I believe it's very important to allow my students to speak as much as possible. My classroom is a place of compassion, patience, loads of fun and laughter and learning in a relaxed and constructive way.

In my free time, I love to read — anything from a good romance to crime, thrillers and dramas. I also swim to keep fit and love spending time with my beautiful animals.
