Hi, everyone and welcome to Skyeng! My name is Anneta and I am a certified English language teacher. I’ve been teaching English as a Foreign language since 2010 and I’ve worked with students of all ages and levels. I’ve also prepared students for exams like TOEIC. I have a Bachelor’s degree in International and European Studies and I am also attending studies in the Department of English Language and Literature of the University of Athens. I specialize in Grammar, International Politics, Business and Conversational English.

Every time I work with a new student, I try to understand what his goals and needs are so that I can adjust my teaching accordingly and help him improve his skills as fast as possible. In my lessons, I do my best to give my students plenty of opportunities to speak and when I make a correction I make sure that my explanations and feedback are clear and constructive.

I believe that lessons based on the communicative approach help people boost their confidence while speaking and this is exactly what I want for my students – I want them to be confident and fluent English speakers. If you are determined to expand your vocabulary, revise grammar, work on your pronunciation and achieve fluency in English then I believe I am able to help you.

Since I’ve been a language learner myself, I would like to point out the best advice I have for all of you: Don’t be afraid to make mistakes while practising your English. You should aim at successful communication and confident speech and the only way to get there is through making mistakes and learning from them. Also, don’t forget to seize every opportunity that comes up to speak English because, as we all know, “Practice makes perfect”.

In my free time, I enjoy reading books and watching movies. I am also interested in technology and AI, History and I like exercising.
