My name is Valentina Galvis, I was born in the Caribbean region of Colombia, I’m 21 years old, I love animals, drawing and sports. I’m currently studying architecture and ecology here in Colombia. I’ve always been interested in learning English, even when I was little, so I decided to go to Canada with the goal of learning English and so I did. My experience as an international student made me realize that learning a new language could be hard in many ways for some people, but it also demonstrated me that learning other languages can bring so many opportunities to one’s life. That’s the reason why in my free time I teach English to people around me, I share with them the knowledge that I have and it makes me really happy. I wish to keep teaching because I think that everyone deserves a chance to learn and I want to contribute to that working with Skyeng.
