Hello, my name is Alison Meiring and I was born in the United Kingdom but I reside in South Africa.
My hobbies and interests are reading, walking/exercising, watching movies and cooking.
After a number of years in banking and administration work, I discovered my passion for teaching and I have been teaching English online for just over 4 years.  I have a TEFL certificate, a Diploma in Teaching skills and a Certificate in IELTS training.
I am friendly, kind, patient, understanding and have a great sense of humour
I am passionate about teaching and enjoy the interaction with my students.  I believe that all students are individuals and everyone learns at their own pace. I like to maintain a happy and positive class environment, as this makes the lesson more memorable, thus helping the student to learn and grow.
Watching the progress of my students and seeing them achieve success, is my greatest reward.
