Hello there and welcome to Skyeng!

My name is Sam. I received my diploma in Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in General Education in Cebu Normal University last 2018. I also took units of Masters of Arts in Education Major in Early Childhood Education and I passed the teacher’s license examination last 2019.

Growing up, I had always wanted to become a teacher. One reason is because I came from a family of teachers. I observed how fulfilling it was to have an influence on the future generations. I grew up wanting to create a safe, comfortable learning environment for all students.

I specifically chose to be an ESL teacher because I am interested in meeting new people, learning about them, their culture and at the same time impart knowledge to them.

Way back to 2018, I was an elementary school teacher for one year. And realized teaching foreign students were more interesting. I’ve been an ESL teacher for more than 2 years now, online and offline both kids and adults.

Learning English is like going on an adventure, you discover a lot of things and have fun at the same time. Oodles of fun teaching and level-appropriate content are waiting for you. Always remember that it’s never too late to start and never give up!
